Meet Mackensey Alexander
A seasoned photographer based in Savannah, GA, with a talent for capturing life’s most authentic moments. Over the past 14 years, Mackensey Alexander has honed her skills in wedding, portrait, and body-affirming boudoir photography, photographing over 300 weddings. Her work blends classic and editorial styles with candid shots, always aiming to capture the true essence of her subjects.
As a queer woman, Mackensey is deeply committed to inclusivity, striving to make everyone feel seen and celebrated. Her roles as a trauma-informed intimacy coach and end-of-life care volunteer enhance her empathetic approach, making her photography a heartfelt collaboration that reveals each individual’s unique story.
The Vision
When Mackensey reached out, she felt like she didn’t have a brand that reflected her personality, and her website was outdated, lacked information, and was hard to navigate. She needed a more curated and intentional website that could better showcase her work and her offers, and attract clients with the same values as her own.
Previously, Mackensey kept her boudoir business separate from her wedding and portrait photography, thinking it might deter potential wedding clients. However, we wanted to create an online home that seamlessly combined both mediums, reflecting her true self and appealing to clients who value her full range of work.
By embracing her embodiment sessions alongside her wedding imagery, we aimed to highlight the healing and authenticity in all her photography, attracting clients who appreciate all of what Mackensey has to offer .
Above all else, we wanted to create a website for visitors to know that Mackensey Alexander Photography is about capturing moments that are genuine, moving, and deeply personal, reflecting a style that is minimalist, warm, and intentional, inviting them to be seen and celebrated for their true selves.
The Template Transformation
We used the Casablanca Showit Template as the foundation for Mackensey Alexander’s new website. Casablanca’s modern, timeless aesthetic beautifully showcases both wedding and boudoir photography, making it perfect for photographers seeking a sophisticated yet welcoming online presence.
By customizing the template with Mackensey’s brand colors, fonts, professional copy, and stunning photography, we transformed it into a unique, authentic reflection of her brand.
Visitors now sense her deep connection to clients, the warmth of her style, and the authenticity she brings to every shoot. The final website not only showcases her style and portfolio but also aligns with clients who share her values, guiding them through her offerings and giving them the confidence to book her services.
